Chuck Norris Endorses Kasich!June 10, 2009 | Tags: Chuck Norris, John Kasich, Ohio 2010, ohio governor — admin @ 6:36 am3 amigos who fight for America By Chuck Norris People are always asking me to run for some form of government office. In fact, there are some fans right now on the Internet proposing I run for president in 2012, and they are trying to accumulate 1 million signatures to get the ball rolling. Of course, I really appreciate their confidence in me, but I have no desire to run for any office. I can get more accomplished for the greater good now than I ever could as an elected official. I am concerned about the future of our country, and I wrote about it in my cultural manifesto, “Black Belt Patriotism. ” I also address my concerns weekly in my syndicated column, available at WND and in various publications across the country. Over the past couple years, we’ve mobilized in some cases hundreds of thousands for different causes around the nation and world. Part of my mission has been to encourage us all to put pressure on our public representatives, because without civic involvement nothing in government will change. Nothing would improve. If we expect our governments to get back on track and truly represent us, then we’ve got to see every day as just as important as election times – to voice our opinions and resurrect our founders’ platforms. One of our most important civic duties is to keep your representative accountable to and aligned with the Constitution. We must also often remind our present politicians that they work for us – we don’t work for them. And if he or she forgets or doesn’t get it, vote them out. That’s the system our founders established: a government “by the people and for the people.” Unfortunately, too many of our public representatives have been corrupted by power, greed or pleasing the masses instead of upholding the Constitution or our founders’ vision for America. That is why Gore Vidal once quipped, “Politics is made up of two words: ‘poli’ which is Greek for ‘many,’ and ‘tics,’ which are bloodsucking insects.” Nevertheless, some politicians have commendably dodged and escaped the perversions that permeate civic offices. As I’ve mentioned many times before, Texas Rep. Ron Paul stands as a shining example of one who stands for truth, justice and the American way. His patriot blood is the type we must continue to encourage, elect and infuse back into the system to revive the America our founders knew. Three more amigos who fight for America and have proven their commitment to the red, white and blue are John Kasich, Bob Vander Plaats and Judge Roy Moore, all of whom are presently running for governors of different states. John Kasich is running for governor of Ohio. As his website conveys, Kasich is the son of a mailman, who grew up in a blue-collar neighborhood in Pennsylvania. His values are rooted in faith, family, community and common sense. John was elected to the Ohio State Senate at the age of 26 and to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982 at the age of 30. As a nine-term congressman, John led the way in a variety of groundbreaking achievements, including constructing and implementing plans to balance the federal budget, create new jobs, reduce taxes, minimize the roles of government and other critical issues important to America’s founders. John is also well known as the host of a national weekly news show called “Heartland with John Kasich. Newsweek magazine named him one of its “100 people for the 21st century.” I encourage you to spread the word about these gentlemen and patriots, learn about their platforms, support their campaigns and see to it that they are elected as governors. Theirs is leadership we can trust. I’m convinced that, if we are to win back America, it’s going to start in the heartland and spread out from there because of the influence of leaders like them. Don’t like what you see in government? Tired of incumbent lethargy or inactiveness? Does a political issue grind on you like fingernails on a chalkboard? It comes down to this: Either you will change our country or your opponents will – but, if you let them, you might not like the outcome. Elect John Kasich, Bob Vander Plaats and Judge Roy Moore as governors! To read the entire post, please visit World Net Daily Comments (9)9 Comments »RSS feed for comments on this post. I am going to rain on the parade and given my history with Rep.-State Sen-US Rep Kasich (yes, going back that long) it should come as no surprise. The whole candidacy looks like a bad joke. A joke on Ohio. What does Chuck Norris know about Ohio? John Kasich has been in leadership positions in Ohio as the downtrend started. Republicans governed Ohio for 16 years and the downward spiral accelerated. The web site speaks of jobs lost under Gov. Strickland but does not address the fact that Ohio suffers from failed leadership from Republicans both at the federal and state levels. Economic failures can’t be reversed in a couple of years. The election of John Kasich governor would only give Ohio more of the same failed policies.

thanks Chuck for the beautifully rambling prose. You’ve successfully KO’d Kasich’s candidacy. How about selling gym equipment in the 2am slot on the wtf channel instead? thank you Republicans for destroying our country, running up huge deficits, torturing people, destroying habeas corpus and using the constitution as your personal toilet paper and then giving it to us in the collective butt by stealing from the poor and giving it to Enron,Blackwater and those jerks on wall street that employ child labor and pay half the tax rate that us regular people pay. Yep, sell gym equipment instead; they don’t run for office.

I like the endorsement… it shows that Kasich is connected with all generations and if you don’t get it, meaning “the Chuck Norris Endorsement” than you are truley not as connected a you think. Young America knows and likes the Chuck Norris Endorsement. Chuck Norris has the cure for cancer in his tears but he never cries. Good luck Kasich… God speed!

I’m surprised to see A. Ottolenghi reading Chuck Norris’ blog. Must be looking for fresh ideas.
For those who don’t know him, Mr. Ottolenghi, has run for representative office and been soundly defeated every time. The only office he ever held was as a member of the local school board. A record there only distinguished by his constant attempts to infuse our schools with his ultra-liberal (read socialist) views.
His condemnation should be a badge of honor for John Kasich.

Chuck Norris has backed several candidates that I’ve liked in the past and this is no exception. I’m watching the Kasich campaign pretty closely and getting all the facts that I can.
Chuck Norris, I believe, supports the Fair Tax on the federal level and this issue is of vital importance to me, as well as thousands of other Ohioans, maybe more. A state Fair Tax plan would bring Ohio into the 21st century.

Thankyou A. Ottolenghi. I’m so inspired by your thoughtful analysis (blame Republicans for everything) that I simply must donate to the Kasich and Republican campaigns. Personally I believe the 2-party system is killing this country because the constant power and ideological struggle has taken priority over the country’s needs. This is not a sporting event with two opposing teams swapping wins. I would vote-out the entire lot of you and start fresh and if that didn’t work I would vote out that bunch and repeat the rinse. Excising a cancer is no easy task.

I love Chuck Norris and America! We need more politicians who really care about what’s best for the people and not keeping their power or pushing their own best interests.
I’m for less government, less taxes and a return to the Constitution so we can all enjoy the FREEDOM granted by our Creator.
In God we Trust . . . Not government!
