Taylor: It’s a New Day in OhioJanuary 14, 2010 | Tags: Jobs, John Kasich, Mary Taylor, Ohio 2010, Unemployment rate — Mary Taylor @ 1:27 pmIt truly is a new day in Ohio and I am excited to join John Kasich as we embark on a mission to transform state government as we know it. The failed policies of the past three years have resulted in a 10.6 percent unemployment rate and the loss of 330,000 jobs. Ohio can’t take it anymore. John Kasich and I will use our experience and accomplishments to reinvent state government. We will work together to bring jobs back to Ohio because we know that if government gets out of our way, Ohioans will prosper. I hope you will join us as we spend the next several months outlining our plans to establish an environment conducive for job growth and prosperity for all Ohioans. God help this state if these two get elected. John Kasich wants to be President and he thinks that Mary Taylor is his Sarah Palin.

I have an idea to help “reinvent state government” to “get [it] out of our way”
Ohio’s family law & support bureaucracy have become a divorce incentive system, allowing one group of parents to use NO-FAULT divorce to empower the judge to marginalize, disenfranchise and indenture the other group.
I’m on a committee, our Ohio Parental Rights Amendment will provide greater protection of fundamental parental rights, so that a NO-FAULT divorce petition becomes the filer’s request to leave & pay support, instead of their demand to evict & receive support. This will remove the state sponsored divorce incentive, strengthen families, and begin building a stronger & more prosperous Ohio.
Will you contact me to read & consider our proposed Amendment?

…cont..
Have you ever heard the phrase “Win the race to the courthouse”? Clearly, this implies that the party who gets there first to file divorce papers, obtains an advantage. Consequently, anyone in a shaky marriage faces a “Prisoner’s Dilemma”. But it’s worse than that, because outcomes in divorce are clearly correlated with the gender of the parties, and in popular culture an unconscionable outcome for one gender is the accepted routine outcome for the other – even when the second gender is the innocent defendant in the no-fault divorce.

I’ll leave the same comment I tweeted to Mr. Kasich a little while ago.
You (Kasich) ran for Congress as a conservative and then voted for gun control TWICE, what makes you think you deserve our votes?
Ms. Taylor – please don’t take that as any reflection on you. I don’t know you or your record. Your running mate, however has the dubious distinction of being the first politician to ever really disappoint me. I expect that sort of thing from a liberal – not a conservative.

You know its a good choice when the libs are the first to post a comment.

Good point Dan… and you know the Libs are scared when they start asking for God’s help… like He is gonna help them banish His Ten Commandments from government buildings, or remove His name from our Pledge, or violate His determination of who should be married, or worship Algore’s idol, or trample His commandment – “Thou Shalt Not Kill”

Jim, NEVER be a one issue voter!

The power is with the people first, the numbered states second and Feds last! Let’s take our state back. We are only being bribed with the tax money we send to DC, enough is enough.

Leave it to a liberal to find some way, some how to work Sarah Palin’s name into the race for governor in Ohio. Pathetic.

> Jim, NEVER be a one issue voter!
Fair enough. However, his votes for gun control call into question his honesty (would a real conservative do this?) and his view of our Constitution. GOP needs to wake up and start running conservatives if wants to regain any relevance.
As to Mr. Kasich, time will tell if he has earned our votes.

Hey John, thanks for the update on where you stand on gun control. By the way, what’s your choice of weapon, mine’s 9mm. No one does everything right in life, but doing one’s best is all anyone can ask, and I think you have done that.
Prove these critics wrong, and I think you will with Mary’s help.

There are certainly a end of details like that to settle into consideration. That is a enthusiastic bottom to bring up. I offer the thoughts chiefly as general vigour but manifestly there are questions like the one-liner you bring up where the most vital id‚e fixe choice be working in honest upstanding faith. I don?t certain if most appropriate practices have emerged enclosing things like that, but I am solid that your hassle is unequivocally identified as a fair game.
