John Kasich will be in Marietta on Thursday

John Kasich will be in Marietta, Ohio on Thursday. From The Marietta Times:

Republican Ohio gubernatorial candidate John Kasich is scheduled to visit Marietta for a series of events Thursday afternoon.

Kasich will begin his visit by addressing the Marietta Noon Rotary at the Marietta Country Club, after which he will tour a local manufacturing facility.

From 4 to 5 p.m. the public is invited to a meet-and-greet event with Kasich at the Fine Art and Framing Gallery, 220 Front St.

Afterward, a cocktail reception fundraiser for Kasich is slated for 5 to 6 p.m. on the first floor of The Galley, 203 Second St. A limited number of tickets are available for this event at $50 each.

   I want to upport John Kasich, but I am very concerned about his stance on funding for Public Libraries in Ohio. Is it true that Mr. Kasich wants to do away with state funding and require users to pay for services? Please say it “ain’t” so!
